    Part #1

    My African Adventure

I took a trip to Africa last week
I traveled in a toucan's brights orange beak
The seating all left much to be desired
The bird soon wished it never had beeen hired

We landed on the Ivory Coast
    The landing it was fatal
To my poor, longsuffering, feathered host
    T'was the opposite of natal

I slashed my way through jungle vine
    The natives weren't friendly
Upon green frogs I had to dine
To Peru my thoughts did send me

Upon the man who ate the shoe
My thoughts did tend to dwell
I wished for a shoe to make shoe brew
And could have dined extremely well

But as I chased the green frogs round
A log shaped like a crocodile
My legs prepared to make a bound
    In Olympic high jump style

In short my journey 'cross the plains
    Was a desparate act until
    I happened to meet Tarzan
After that it was a thrill!

    The End

Strangely enough, I loved this. I usually hate almost all poetry unless it's in-depth, but I really extremely, no sarcasm intended, loved this.

Please, continue in another area besides the African Jungles, maybe a desert or the Himalayas, that would be a sure-fire treat.

    My South American Adventure
    By SpareChange

Although the trials I'd suffered through
    Had been extremely tough
    My family soon decided
    That I hadn't had enough

    They knew a new adventure
Would get me on my feet
    Choosing South America
    My fate therein to meet

We docked right near Pirana Hole
    An establishment of sorts
Since I forgot my fishing pole
    We abstained from native sports

    Our guide upon the Amazon
    My fears planned to allay
But found that I'd already gone
    Before he reached the quay

I fled at last to Canada
    Escaping from a snake
And found that there were great big bears
    What difference did it make?

    The End
There you go! Hope there are no typos.

Dime a dozen, so they say. . .

Love it! Just as hilarious as ever.

    That'll work.
