Black-banded moon with eye of jade
Harsh white light on water, slowly fade
Turning, spinning, under wide 'wakened world
    Rising, falling, throbbing, moving
    Suddenly hurled

Depths of sea in lengths of sky
Heights of sun in weights of wave
Great steely mountains prostrate now lie

A black-banded moon is turning tonight

    Wow, very vivid.

The Siblings said it sounded Chinese, but if it does, it was purely accidental. I wrote it to illustrate a drawing.
  2.

Which drawing? I'm a little stumped by the "black-banded moon with eye of jade," I can't remember ever seeing anything like that?
